Artwork Details: I was inspired to create the art work while strolling through the lovely gardens of a couple plantations. The Latin word "Apricus" means "heated by the sun." The light was at its greatest position in the sky, blazing down on the lush garden settings, and I could see how vividly everything appeared. The light appeared to be consuming and warming everything. I wanted to reproduce what I saw while adding a stunning artistic flourish.
